Today my jewelry teacher Maureen Shankey is inaugurating her  new studio Metalheads and she invited us to an Open House. A couple of years ago, when my sister kati and I where taking her classes, we always took something sweet to eat and share with the other students, we where an awesome group of artists, having a lot of fun and creating gorgeous jewelry pieces, so i thought I'm going to make a cake that shows the jewelry piece that she always whore, and after 2 days working on the cake and the jewelry piece  replica, here are the results, hope she likes it and , see you there girls, we are going to have a lot of  fun.


Hoy mi profesora de Joyería Maureen Shankey esta inaugurando su estudio Metalheads, y nos invito al Open House. Hace algunos años cuando mi hermana Kati y yo estábamos tomando sus clases siempre llevábamos algo dulce para compartir con los otros estudiantes, eramos un maravilloso grupo de artistas divirtiéndonos muchísimo y  creando estupendas piezas de joyería. Entonce pensé hacerle una torta que mostrara la pieza de joyería que ella siempre usaba, despues de dos dias de trabajo en la torta y la replica de la pieza de joyeria este es el resultado, espero que le guste, nos vemos allí chicas, lo vamos a pasar genial
